Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Henan Province announced the list of candidate projects for the 2026 Provincial Key R&D Programs. The project "Research and Industrialization of Key Technologies for Integrated Thermal Management of New Energy Commercial Vehicle" undertaken by Zhengzhou Newbase Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. has been successfully selected into the Candidate Repository of Provincial Key R&D Programs of Henan Province.
Project Background and Significance
The project focuses on the core directions including "system integration design, intelligent control strategy, key component development and vehicle energy efficiency optimization", with the following key tasks:
Technology R&D: Focus on key technologies such as multi-heat-source coupling management and intelligent heat flow distribution and control algorithms to improve the comprehensive energy efficiency and adaptive capacity of the system.
Product Development: Develop highly integrated and modular thermal management integrated system products to meet the adaptation requirements of different vehicle platforms.
Industrial Application: Complete system bench test verification and vehicle calibration, realize the loading and demonstration application of the technology on mainstream new energy commercial vehicle platforms, and promote the implementation of industrialization. The implementation of this project is expected to enhance the technological independent innovation capability of Henan Province and even the whole country in the field of new energy commercial vehicle thermal management, drive the upgrading of the related industrial chain, and provide important support for the high-quality development of the new energy vehicle industry.
